See ( http://www.hardheads.org/barkin/barkin.htm ) for details. Check out my CD project at ( http://www.hardheads.org/gt/default.htm ).
Present/Future Uses of BeOS for Audio: Eventual replacement for my Amiga 3000 with Studio16 and Bars & Pipes. This is a tough act to follow, since the 3000 is a joy to use, and totally bulletproof. The software is excellent and always gets the job done. The Be system and apps must begin to equal the Amiga in features, performance, and stability before it becomes the primary studio computer. I think with the momentum Be is building, it should happen before 2001. Right now the best use for my Be computer is making MP3s.
